    Probable reprint (lacks a publisher edition/printing statement upon copyright page) SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. i-xii, 13-167 pages plus unpaged 14 leaf (28 page) b/w plate section. Hardcover: H 24.25cm x L 16.75cm. Dust jacket well foxed with tears, some scuffs, and shallow chipping; front flap's bottom corner is clipped. Dark aquamarine cloth; gilt and black stamping to front board and spine remains bright. Some foxing to text block edges; deckle fore-edge. Strong toning to front endpapers from laid-in news paper clipping; ink ownership inscription on front free endpaper noting book's purchase at Rutledge's plantation in April 1953 (reinforcing likelihood of being a reprint); light toning to rear endpapers. Author's ink signature "Archibald Rutledge" upon half-title page; interior pages are otherwise clean. Binding is firm.
