Cloth. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Harold Brett (illustrator). The blue cover has darker blue titles and a Dutch wind mill drawing, the spine also has darker blue titles and is lightly sun struck. The trimmed head is a lighter blue variation of the cover the fore edge is rough cut. There is what looks like a water mark on front cover, but does not detract from the over all condition, the corners are not bumped. The endpapers are age yellowed with an inscription in the front from former owner and a store price stamp also. The frontispiece is a wonderful colored painting of an old fisherman. There are other colored paintings throughout the book along with a lot of black and white pen and ink drawings. The interior is very clean and bright.
