In overall good used condition - original brown faux-crocodile-skin cloth boards are rubbed to edges and corners slightly rounded. Binding overall tight - gutter strained at pp viii/ix, no annotations or inscriptions; light tanning to page-ends but text, excellent maps, decorated end-papers and illustrations clean and clear throughout. Retains original silk page-marker. Copious period advertisements. A lovely little book!
