Pages are moderately tanned with mild foxing, heavy to endpapers. Mild cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Mild thumb-marking present. Boards have light edgewear with corner crushing and heavy marking to boards. Moderate tanning to board edges and spine, which has mild crushing to ends. Moderate water stains to surfaces.

I hope particularly that the newcomers to aero-modelling will find both interest and inspiration from the doings of others. There is a great deal one can learn from the "early ones." This is not quite true in the case of the aeroplane, but it is true that since the aerplane really got into its stride, improvement has been chiefly in the nature of development rather than radical change.
