The text was created from over 150 hours of exclusive interviews with Bono, Edge, Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen Jr and manager Paul McGuinness, conducted over the course of two years especially for the book by author and Daily Telegraph rock critic Neil McCormick. Photographs, documents and memorabilia were supplied from personal archives by the members of U2 and Principle Management.
