Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition, First Printing. 5 1/2 X 8 7/8 Inches. 200 PP. Signed first printing in orignal publisher blue buckram binding. Signed by Ebele Eko directly on the title-page. The first book length study of Elechi Amadi, one of the founding generation of African author's who wrote in English. Amadi is most widely known for his book, The Concubine and is arguably the most famous author to hail from Nigeria. Housed in original publisher pink dust jacket that features the image of Amadi on the front panel. Slight foxing. Slight wear to DJ edges and head and foot of spine. While well represented in Institutional holdings, this book is very rare on the collector market. Signed.
