Die Hochzeit von Brabant war das Hoch- und Spätmittelalter, in dieser Zeit waren die Herzöge von Brabant mächtige Partner entdweder vom Heiligen Römischen Reich Deutscher Nation oder von Frankreich. Später wurde Brabant das Kernland der Spanischen Niederlande. Mehrfach regierten Frauen in Brabant, etwa Maria von Brabant, der späteren Königin von Frankreich.
