It is particularly happy that this story of the greatest evangelist of the English-speaking race - George Whitefield - should be a heritage held in common by our American cousins and ourseloves. Both nations are equally and permantently indebted to this intrepid apostle of faith. It is well to be reminding of our common babptism in one free faith at a time like the present, when we are trying to unite in the essentially religious task of establishing, if possible on a permanent basis, the Peace of Mankind throughout the world. Contents: Part 1 - Early Days. Part 11 - The Apostle of Two Worlds. Part 111 - The Revival in Flood. Part IV - The Awakener's Challenge. 302 pp. Signed by Author(s).
