Hardcover. Condition: Collectible-Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. (1931). Memoirs of a theatre goer from Jackson, Michigan, where many of America's major actors appeared in the 1870's and 1880's. Charmingly discussed are Edwin Booth, Lawrence Barrett, Mary Anderson, Mars. D.P. Bowers, etc. Inscribed by author: "Compliments of the author. Fred J. Beaman. Dec. 15, 1931." Further inscribed "Merry Christmas 1931. F.J. Bearman is a Jackson man, at present Post Master, and this book has some 'local color.'" 96 pages.
