Hardcover. Condition: Very Good+. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. Baum, Joseph (illustrator). First Edition First Printing. Fanciful book demonstrating the remarkable imaginative capabilities of young children, based on a game the author used to play on walks with young neighbors. This is this husband & wife team's second book for children, written by Arline & illustrated by Joe. A selection of Parents' Magazine Press, this is a FIRST EDITION, first printing, from 1964. Unpaginated. Hardcover small 4to has beige cloth-covered boards stamped with black lettering & design to front cover & spine. Condition is VG+: exceptionally clean inside, pages white & unmarked, binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Outside edges of both boards show mild toning all around & very mild rubbing to extremities. The unclipped DJ is Good, with light soil, some small chips 7 a short tear, rubbing.
