Dampstain at the bottom of the front and rear covers, with minor bowing and small areas of bleeding at the front and rear pastedowns, not affecting the interior. The dj is lightly chipped, price clipped and with a bit of bleed through on the front cover. With a full page inscription, signed, by Bason, on the first free endpaper. He has also signed on the frontispiece portrait. The first of four diaries by the cockney bookseller and autograph collector.
