Loosely based on Arthur Conan Doyle's 1890 novel "The Sign of the Four," as well as the short stories "The Final Problem", "The Adventure of the Empty House", and "The Adventure of the Speckled Band." From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. Approximately 10 x 8 inches. Very Good, with moderate cracking to the emulsion and two small labels affixed just above the bottom edge of the recto.
