Walcotts name in in pencil on the front flyleaf, with a 1906 date; likely his signature. Some rubbing at spine extremities and corners. Some light surface rubbing. Surface tear near upper spine. Spine somewhat sun-lightened, but gilt lettering still very readable. Pages somewhat age-toned, and some freckling on the page edges. Else pages clean, but for library markings. Finally, this volume comes from the collection of Dr. Thomas Lovejoy, who was a passionate book collector as well as a renowned biologist.
