Soft. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. First Edition. This work is the story of the Q Mikado locomotives. There were a total of 737 of these magnificent machines--605 were built new, 2 converted and 130 acquired. The last one was retired in 1959 and sits at the B&O Museum in Baltimore. The book contains photographs, illustrations, drawings, diagrams, and a numerical index. The name of the former owner of the book appears on the title page; otherwise, this copy is clean and solid.
