Z nepochopitelneho duvodu zacne byt divkou posedly a chodi ji vyhlizet na hrbitov, nicmene znovu ji potka az po roce, opet osmeho, na stejne lavicce. Daleko odsud mezitim vyrusta ve vyzkumne laboratori dalsi chlapec ve stejnem veku, ktery vladne schopnosti tak desivou, ze ho drzi v naproste izolaci.

Opiciho vraha uz mel na dosah, kdyz ho z patrani odvolala FBI, ale takova drobna prekazka ho nemuze zastavit.Oficialne se Porter a jeho tym venuje pripadu mrtve divky, ktera byla nalezena pod zamrzlou hladinou laguny v chicagskem parku. Otazkou je, jak se tam dostala, kdyz laguna zamrzla pred nekolika mesici a divka se pohresuje teprve tri tydny? A jak je mozne, ze na sobe mela saty jine divky, jejiz zmizeni nahlasili rodice teprve pred dvema dny?Zatimco Porterovi kolegove usilovne hledaji odpovedi na tyto znepokojive otazky, on sam pokracuje v pronasledovani Opicaka. Jakmile to zjisti jeho nadrizeny, je postaven mimo sluzbu. Ani to ale nemuze Portera zastavit. Je dopadenim Bishopa tak posedly, ze se upne na starou rozmazanou fotku a ta ho dovede do sveta temnejsiho, nez si kdy dokazal predstavit. A tehdy zjisti, ze existuje jen jedna vec desivejsi nez mysl serioveho vraha: mysl matky, ktera ho privedla na svet.

The covers are slightly dulled and browned with age, with some marks to the covers commensurate with age and handling, but the covers are still very clean. Staples rusted as usual. Please note that the bottom of the spine has been bumped and this affects all pages (please see scans). Edges of covers slightly rubbed and creased, but no tears. Internally also very good with very clean pages. None of the usual foxing. No inscriptions.
