Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Nice book, tight and square with bright covers and spine, clean unmarked interior. Sturdy binding with strong hinges. The unclipped jacket is heavily worn with edge wear, chipping and loss; front flap separated. Jacket now protected in mylar sleeve.

unbound. Condition: very good. Excellent signed autograph page inscribed to a Yankee fan, c. 1930's: "Dear Martha: Babe Ruth stood out like egg stains on velvet - Arthur 'Bugs' Baer". Fine condition. American journalist, humorist, cartoonist and sports writer who was close friends with Babe Ruth, and later, Toots Shore. He holds the distinction of nicknaming Ruth "The Bambino" and "The Sultan of Swat".
