Two small 12mo volumes, each with half-titles and the rare chromolithographic pictorial titles likely used as wrapper, bearing the just discernible name of Gregory, Collins and Reynolds The pictorial title bound before its respective typographical title page; designed as a Renaissance-style architectural composition Gilson E2 described this binding as .I have one in publishers dark red morocco, both boards stamped with a Romantique design in gold and colours, all edges gilt, pale yellow endpapers, with the front illuminated wrapper bound in. Published in Clarke's Cabinet Series, this is the first separate edition of SS to appear after the copyright having lapsed in 1839.
