Hardcover. Condition: Good to Very Good. Appear to be the First Editions in English, 3 volumes large octavo bound in publisher's textured brown cloth, text blocks square and tight, pages clean and unmarked and still quite bright, circular perforated blindstamp in upper right corner of each half-titlle page; bindings square and tight but all three volumes have cracked outer hinges and thus the spine covers are loosening with some chipping along the gutters, the bottom third missing from Vol. I. Otherwise quite well-preserved, all boards still attached but a couple are starting to loosen. Vol. I is 1853, Vol II is 1856, Vol. III is 1858.
