    Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Yellow hardcover in near fine dust jacket. First edition with Scriber's A on copy right page. Light sunning to top of dust jacket with minor tears and chips to top of spine; does not affect lettering. Dr. [Harold] Benge Atlee was born in Pictou, Nova Scotia in 1890, received his early education in Annapolis Royal, and graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 1911. At the age of 21, he was the youngest graduate in the medical school's history. From 1917 onwards, Atlee was a prolific writer. Atlee wrote five medical textbooks and 58 medical articles. In addition to his professional writing, Atlee wrote short stories and novels. Black Feather is a great mystery novel which was not commercially successful. Copes in near fine dust jackets like this are rare.
