Published in 1974 in softcover only, with a dust jacket, as issued, and measuring 5-1/2" by 8-1/4" and containing 92 pages. A collection of articles from the Foreign Correspondents' Club, possibly first published in "The Shukan Asahi," including: The Inscrutable Japanese by Rowland G. Gould (U.K.); Murder-suicide by John Roderick (U.S. - which begins, "The newspaper item is brief. It says a Japanese wife, despondent over the fact that her husband has abandoned her, jumps in front of a commuter train. She is killed. But this is not all. Two tiny children, one strapped to her back, are also crushed to death under the terrible steel wheels of the onrushing train. The event deserves hardly more than a few paragraphs.
