Binding remains firm.Pages are prominently tanned with foxing throughout. Plates are moderately tanned. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and noticeable rubbing to surfaces. Strong tanning to spine and edges.

Sowerby was the editor of this magazine, which includes five pages and 7 b&w plates titled "Shooting and Fishing Notes", reporting on hunting big-horn sheep (argali - ovis comosa) in northern China; shooting snipe, black cock and other game birds; fishing for carp, "The Well-Known Trout Brachymystax Lenok", taimen or Siberian hucho, keta salmon, grayling, etc.; and a report of the Shanghai Hounds Hunting Season. He also mentions that American brook trout from Montana had been introduced into Hawaiian waters. Very good.
