The cover has brown cloth with dark brown lettering and decorative beige lines. The first entries are short biographies and full-page, color portraits of General Douglas Macarthur and Lt. General Robert L. Eichelberger.The first page of the history states, "The Eighth Army. from Memphis, Tennessee.began its role in the Pacific War on the 7th of September, 1944." The photos are browntone. The hand drawn illustrations are in color. The front pastedown is wavy along the bottom edge, and the back pastedown is wavy along the top edge, apparently as left by the binder. The pages have light cigarette odor. The DJ's folds and top and bottom edges have chips, up to 1 1/4 in., and closed tears, up to 4 in. Scans e-mailed upon request. Priority or international shipping will require extra shipping cost.
