Contents: Premesa; Giuseppe Arcimboldi; L'Arcimboldi musicisa (Lionello Levi); Epilogo (Oscar Kokoschka); Documenti; Regesti e Bibliografia; Elenco delle opere. The artist is known for his fantastic portraits made up of vegetables, animals, fruit, everyday utensils/instruments, flowers, etc. Very slight browning to page edges and to endpapers, small bump to bottom corner of front board, minor wrinkling to top of spine. Dust jacket is yellowing at edges, a few very small chips and tears, some light edge wear/wrinkling, 1/4" dia. hole in lower part of rear panel, moderate soiling and rubbing, protected in a mylar sleeve.
