There is a big stain across the first leaf. Even by the standards of the Royal Society this is an unusually interesting compilation with Antoni Van Leeuwenhoek writing about his discovery of 'sels or pores' in trees, Hevelius, Flamsteed and Cassini provide observational data on a solar eclipse, 23 June 1675, and unsigned reviews of new works by Boyle and other writers.
