Green embossed fabric covers with gilt and black overprinting. Corners and edges worn and bumped. 82 pages unmarked starts with 'going a-courting' Binding holding all pages but loose. Well worn but still amusing/interesting book.

    Cloth Gilt. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: None. Undated but a previous owners's inscription to the front free end-paper is dated 1879. The bevelled cloth is a little rubbed commensurate with age. All edges gilt. Birthdays noted include those of Queen Victoria, the Princess of Wales and the Princess of Prussia.

The author has done well at condensing all these tales into ten lines each! Some pictures are definitely by Frances Brundage and the others certainly look as if they are.
