Condition: Fair. No Edition Remarks. 93 pages. No dust jacket. Tartan paper covered boards with orange cloth spine. Farthing, possibly facsimile, humorously embedded in front board. Edited by F Gregory Hartswick. Pages are rather marked with pronounced tanning and foxing, plus thumbing. Foxing and tanning more noticeable towards start and end of book and on text block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Gutters somewhat cracked with some exposed netting. A few dog-eared corners. Boards have some edge wear, with pronounced bumping and peeling to corners, while spine ends are crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Title label foxed also.

Hardcover. Condition: Very good. first edition. 5 x 7 in. Plaid cloth with paper label and 1926 penny. Condition is VERY GOOD ; covers a touch rubbed, minimal edge wear. Binding tight, text spotless. Hum. Stax.

Hardcover. 16mo, Tartan cloth cover with paper label on front and farthing coin embedded in cover. Paper label a bit discolored, minor wear to cloth cover, ink inscription on copyright page, else very good clean & sound condition.

Contents tight with a little spotting to page edges. A very good tight copy with original farthing piece in cover. Size: Sm 8vo. Book.

A VERY GOOD BOOK - 6TH EDITION USA EDITION PRINTED THE SAME YEAR AS THE FIRST EDITION : With a 1 cent coin inserted, as called for, into the upper cover " Price 99 cents, { finger point towards the coin } Here's your change". Very clean copy, a few minor marks, tight and secure. A small paper sticker damage to base title page { see image }p. unnumbered, but contains 179 jokes. Hilarious.
