All illustration tissue guards present, some with faint creases. Overall, better than Very Good. Not just a tour-de-force of the immensely talented Amuchastegui, Love Life of the Birds also proffers Carlos Selva Andrade's colorful, story-like descriptions of the mating behaviors of the exotic tropical birds who are the subject of the piece. Still, Amuchastegui has become a bit of a bigger star from this one; the prints from this title, when excised from the book, fetch serious prices. Scarce. lg7.
