Taschenbuch. Condition: Neu. Neuware -Women have traditionally played an important role in Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises, as owners, managers and workers. In Benin, shea almond processing and trading, mostly carried out by women, is one of the greatest opportunities in terms of wealth creation in rural and urban areas, particularly for women, and a source of currency for the country. The sale of shea butter provides women with money in order to assure the well-being of their family. During the last twenty years, technologies have been allocated to processors of shea almond, notably women, by successive governments, technical and financial partners in order to increase shea butter production and develop shea almond channel. Unfortunately, the channel remains at a low stage of development in term of production level, quality, diversification, trading, technical and management capacity. So, the present work aims to identify, analyse and discuss the issues for successful technology transfer from stakeholder group¿s perceptions in this sector. The originality of this dissertation is that issues are identified and ranked both according to technology transfer steps and stakeholder groups.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 96 pp. Englisch.

Albino rats weighing between 130-150g were grouped into six groups. Two groups were fed with maize powder supplemented with soybeans in ratios 4:1(group 2) and 3:2 (group 3); two other groups were fed with maize supplemented with Moringa oleifera in ratios 4:1 (group 4) and 9:1(group 5) respectively. Two control group were fed normal rat chow (group 1) and maize flour (group 6) respectively. The feeding lasted four weeks. Weights of rats in each group were recorded before the commencement of the feeding and weekly thereafter. Biochemical parameters including, lipid indices, serum enzyme activity, albumin and glucose level were determined. Body weight and organ weights of albino rats were studied.
