No Binding. Condition: Very Good. Three page 8" x 10" letter from author Ben Ames Williams to Kelsey Guilfoil - book critic of the Chicago Tribune. In the letter Williams gives several reasons why he can't supply Guilfoil with the piece he has requested. Williams talks about several possible topics such as curling, horseback riding, hunting with a .410 shotgun versues a 12 gauge, hunting the English Sparrow in Bermuda for the last three weeks with Mr. Kenneth Robert then finally says "For one reason or another I can't give you the piece you asked for." Dated March 23, Paget, Bermuda at top of page one. Written in black pen on bluish paper. A little light foxing on page 1. Includes an old lightly foxed two page typed copy of the letter. Image shows part of page 3. Very good condition.
