Gold gilt upper page ends are bright. Light soiling and shelf wear to spine and covers. Light yellowing and soiling to rough cut front and bottom page ends. Yellowing and foxing to inside front and back covers, ffep's and bfep's. Text and the many b&w illustrations are slightly yellowed due to age. Otherwise clean and unmarked including the 2 page map of the United States showing the boundaries of the Union and the Confederacy geographical divisions and departments. Includes the Constitution of the Confederate States of America, meetings of the Confederate Congress, Inaugural address of President Jefferson Davis, executive officers of the Confederate States-1861-1865 and much more. All books are individually examined and described. Never ex-library unless explicitly described as such.
