Paperback. Condition: Fair. 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 58 pages; No date given [circa 1928-29]. Square format paperback designed for display and use from the wall. Formatted much like a wall calendar, with a braided pink silk rope binding looped to serve as a wall hang. Pages formatted horizontally with leaves printed signle side only. Salad recipes grouped sequentially by month. 58 pages, lacking the final page (#59, the index page of salads from L - Z). Front cover doubles as the title page, illustrated with a striking jazz age, flapper themed color design signed "Dudley". Rear part of cover detached and missing. Front cover with horizontal stress creases from prior use. Cover has a small chip from the lower front corner, several short closed tears and general edge rubbing. Some scattered kitchen soiling to recipe pages. Somewhat rough but quite uncommon and striking. Fair to Good only; with faults.…

A lovely gift-style cookbook published by the Buzza Company and their subsidiary Craftacres Greeting Card Company, both owned by George Buzza in Minneapolis, with approximate dates of operation from 1921-1942. The contents follow a calendar schedule with recipes for each month interspersed with lessons on cooking and entertaining for the hostess.
