The book is in fine condition. A proposition is set forth that the Reissinger edition of St. Jerome's letters was the first book printed in Rome. Printed by Patrick Reagh. Reissinger set up his printing firm in 1466, about the time that Sweynheim and Pannartz left Subiaco and moved to Rome.
