Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. xlvi, 458 pages, including notes and references, appendices, and index; red cloth boards with gilt spine titles; two black & white plates; multiple uncut pages; minor blemishes to front board; corners very slightly bumped; very small spot of red dye to upper corner of front pastedown and corresponding area of top edge, apparently from front board; hinges somewhat weakened but still intact; interior bright and binding tight; a very good plus to near fine copy; a solid example of this historic work which details life in an outpost of the American Fur Company in the years following the Lewis and Clark expedition.
