Tan wraps with brown titles and photo of the author. Closed tear on rear; staples secure at spine; wear to top and bottom at spine. Not folded or bent. Former owner's name written on title page. The story of a young boy from Elk City, OK and his and his family's conversion to Christianity and a life of preaching the 1930s. Stories of salvation and healing included as the author became a more skilled preacher. A very presentable copy.

The film debut of Abbott and Costello. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus.

No date on title pages. Copyright pages dated only 1962. Stated second edition. First volume viii + 483 pages; second volume begins at page 484 and continues through page 1170; third volume begins at 1171 and concludes at page 1796. First volume opens with editors' preface to the second edition and contains codes 1-100 through 36-111. Second volume includes codes 37-100 through 96-231. Third volume contains codes 97-100 through 144-101. Each volume has a printed out and stapled booklet of the third edition 1988 supplement tucked into a pocket on the back attached endpaper. Binding of each volume beginning to loosen at crown of spines, but uncracked and not significantly loose; most prominent in second volume.
