    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good Slipcase. First Edition. New York: Pantheon Books, 1954. First edition, 1954. Includes both text and plates volumes in slipcase. Third of the three-part the Bollingen Series XL of Egyptian Religions Texts and Representation, a scholarly body of work with extreme detail and analysis, well-illustrated including many folding plates. Text volume is in tan cloth with brown cloth spine, 12.25 inches tall, 221 pages plus addenda. The accompanying volume is a clamshell style binding containing 30 black and white plates, some folding, accompanied by an explanatory booklet. Set came with plain brown dustjackets which are not present. The brown cloth slipcase which has a paper front cover label. The book is in about fine condition other than a slight tilt to the binding which appears to have been caused by overcrowding in the slipcase when the tie for the plates volume is placed on the side rather than back. Plates and binding are also about fine. Set is exceptionally clean and well-kept set with no names or other markings. The slipcase has some expected shelfwear, structurally sound. . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good Slipcase. Folio - 12" - 15" Tall.
