A facsimile in reduced format of Rouault's original edtion of 1948, designed by Arnold Fawcus of the Trianon Press, later famous for facsimile editions of William Blake's works. This is the first English edition. Near Fine (some foxing, offset and bookseller's pencil inscriptions to the ffep) with a Very Good dustjacket (browning to the spine and a small closed tear to the top with no loss), with the small discreet blind-embossed stamp of Dr Trevor Weston to the corner of the rear endpaper.
