A small tract by anti-Communist propagandist Myron Fagan on Communist control of Hollywood, which concludes with a lengthy list of actors, singers, dancers, commentators, writers, directors, producers and composers who Fagan accuses of being Communist sympathizers. Tri-fold brochure format printed in red, six panels. A fine copy.

First Edition. An early issue of Myron Fagan's far right news bulletin. This issue reprints Fagan's address to the Fellows of the Cinema Educational Guild at their meeting on November 28, 1950 at the Wilshire-Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Stapled wrappers, 23 p. Some faint foxing to wrappers and slight discoloration along spine.

Small format tract in which Fagan indicts Supreme Court justice Earl Warren on the following charges: 1) The "DESEGREGATION DECISION," which aids and abets the plans of the Communist Conspiracy to (A): create tension between Negroes and Whites; (B): to transform the South into a BLACK SOVIET REPUBLIC; (C) to legalize and encourage intermarriage between Negroes and Whites - and thus mongrelize the American White Race!" and 2) multiple decision that disarm the FBI allowing the Communist Conspiracy to run rampant. Would make a great gift for the fan in your life, even if that's you. ~ About the author/editor : Myron Coureval Fagan (31 October 1887 - 12 May 1972) was an American writer, producer and director for film and theatre and a red scare figure in the late 1940s and 50s. Fagan was an ardent anti-communist. In 1945, Fagan claimed he saw secret documents of the meetings in Yalta, shown to him by author John T. Flynn, that led him to write the plays Red Rainbow, and Thieves Paradise. Written in 1945, Red Rainbow portrays Roosevelt, Stalin and others in Yalta plotting to deliver the Balkans, Eastern Europe and Berlin to Stalin. Left-wing groups in the New York opposed the production of the play and Fagan had difficulties getting financial backing to produce it. Fagan took the play to Hollywood where he encountered even more protests against it than he had in New York. ~ In the late 1940s Fagan launched a one-man crusade against what he claimed was a "Red Conspiracy in Hollywood". Out of this crusade would come the Cinema Education Guild. ~ In 1953, Red Rainbow was produced by Bruce Fagan and staged for 16 performances at the Royal Theatre between 14 September and 26 September. ~ Written two years later, Thieves Paradise portrays the same group plotting to create the United Nations as a Communist front for one world government. ~ Despite opposition, Thieves Paradise opened at the Las Palmas Theatre in Hollywood on December 26, 1947. It starred Howard Johnson ho was subject to a campaign of harassment so bitter and intense that it sent him to St. Vincent's Hospital with a nervous breakdown after six performances and never made another movie in Hollywood. Thieves Paradise was also produced and staged at the El Patio theatre in Hollywood in April, 1948. One of Humphrey Bogart's early film appearances. Anti-communist attack on the United Nations, based on an address to the Fellows of the Cinema Educational Guild in 1952. Fagan (1887-1972) began his career as a Hollywood screenwriter in the Thirties; during the Depression he became increasingly interested in far right causes and the International Conspiracy; by the late Forties he had founded the Cinema Education Guild to expose what he saw as the looming "communist conspiracy in Hollywood." Fagan was a key figure in the development of the modern "Illuminati" conspiracy, which contends that a shadowy, internationalist cabal, composed of politicians and financiers and organized through the Council on Foreign Relations, is plotting for world domination.
