Large, squarish book, dark brown cloth spine, light brown boards, gilt lettering bright on spine, facsimile of Civil War letter inside covers and adjacent end papers at front, in back geneaological chart. Profusely illustrated throughout. DJ has dark brown background, gilt framed photo of large house on front, old chair, table and book on back. DJ has slight wear to front and top back tips, two very tiny tears with slight wear and light crease at top front edge, microtears with creases along bottom front edge, micronick with very slight surface wear to spine edges, two micronicks at top back edge. Good DJ/Very Fine book.
