Le Messie de Cesar va renverser notre comprehension de l'histoire chretienne en revelant le fait que Jesus n'est qu'un personnage fictif depeint par quatre evangiles ecrits non pas par des chretiens, mais par des Romains. Cette edition rajoute les dernieres decouvertes d'Atwill concernant les nombreux evenements paralleles sequentiels divulguant la veritable identite des auteurs des evangiles. "Monthly Musical Review" at end followed a single yellow sheet, printed only on the verso with an advertisement for Atwill's Piano Forte, Harp, and Music Saloon at No. 201 Broadway. Original red cloth (decorated in gilt), recently rebacked in matching red leather. 33 cm. Old cover wear and a couple of stains but now quite sound. Mostly moderate foxing. Atwill's plan as described in this volume was to issue a piece of music every month with a cover illustration and generally containing about 20 pages. This volume presumably contained the first 12 monthly pieces of music. OCLC lists only a defective copy at the University of Pennsylvania. We found no record of any subsequent volumes. Atwill left New York in 1848 or 1849 and relocated to San Francisco.
