Red binding, black brown & white pictures to front & spine with slight rubbing, wear with creases & small splits to spine-ends, some wear to corners, rubbign to edges, 7cm split to centre of rear hinge. Stamps/marks to rear of… frontispiece which is loose. flyleaf missing. cracks to inner hinges showing cloth. Page-edges are darkened. Text has small marks, best described as servicably clean, binding a bit pulled in places but reasonably strong. Date 1939 to end-papers is too late - looks about 1900-1910.
