N�e en Italie, Ester Rota Gasperoni a men� une vie errante (Italie, Am�rique du Sud, �tats-Unis, Inde), avant d'atterrir en France en 1977. Apr�s avoir �crit en espagnol et en anglais, elle a publi� son premier roman, Orage sur le lac, en France en 1995 (�cole des Loisirs). Ce roman a re�u le prix Ados de Rennes et le prix des Coll�giens de Vannes. L'Arbre de Capulies (�cole des Loisirs) est paru en 1996, suivi de L'Ann�e am�ricaine (1997). Chez Actes Sud Jeunesse, elle a publi� : La porte d'en face, Le Pistomaure (prix Gayant Lecture de Douai et prix Le Petit Th�ophraste des Benjamins de Loudun), Pas de blagues chez les espions ! (prix Graine des lecteurs de Dieppe), ainsi qu'une nouvelle version de L'Arbre de Capulies (2006). Ester Rota Gasperoni a deux enfants et cinq petits-enfants.

NICOLAS HUBESCH est n� en 1969 en banlieue parisienne. Apr�s avoir �t� tour � tour pizza�olo, toiletteur pour chiens et repr�sentant en paillassons, il a finalement d�cid� de se consacrer � l'illustration et � la bande dessin�e pour la jeunesse.
