Christopher J Respass

Christopher J. Respass is an author, pastor, attorney, and leadership communicator who helps people navigate the intersection of faith, leadership, relationships, and everyday life. Drawing from decades of experience in ministry, law, organizational leadership, and family life, he brings biblical wisdom and practical insight to the challenges people face at home, in the workplace, and in their communities.

Chris is the founder and Lead Pastor of Antioch Christian Fellowship in Corinth, Texas, a church he established with his wife, Charmaine, in 2002. He is also the founder of Chris Respass Ministries, through which he equips and encourages pastors and organizational leaders.

A graduate of Morehouse College, Chris earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law, Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from Dallas Theological Seminary. His diverse background shapes a writing style that is thoughtful, candid, biblically grounded, and refreshingly practical.

He is the co-author, with his wife Charmaine, of Medicine for Your Marriage: A Pointed Guide for Ailing Marriages, a candid and practical guide to building healthier relationships. His forthcoming book, Beyond the Oasis: How Minority-Led Suburban Churches Can Become Outposts for the Nations (November 2026), explores the leadership qualities and personal preparation necessary for pastors to lead churches with a vision beyond their walls.

Whether writing about marriage, ministry, leadership, or personal growth, Chris believes that lasting transformation begins not simply with changing our circumstances, but with allowing God to change us.

Chris and Charmaine have been married for thirty years. They are the parents of three children and proud grandparents. They live in North Texas.
