Joseph Davis

Joseph Davis is a master puzzle-solver on the page and in his professional life. As the founder of My Story Den, he crafts children’s mysteries that celebrate teamwork and curiosity. His debut series, the Woodvale Detective Agency, follows animal sleuths Rusty and Shadow as they help young readers discover the joy of cracking tough cases.

A military veteran with an IT and security background, Joseph brings a natural talent for complex world-building to his storytelling. His love for mystery grows alongside his readers as he crafts his Young Adult detective novel, L.I.N.K., while his imagination heads to the stars in the YA sci-fi universe of The Sky Web Adventures, also in development.

When he isn’t dreaming up heists or mapping out deep-space adventures, Joseph can be found running the hills of San Antonio, Texas, playing video games, or relaxing with his wife, their teenager, and their pup.
