Ravi Shah

Ravi Shah is a husband, father of two, and infertility and HIE advocate based in Madison, Wisconsin. He began his career working as a data analyst and follow-through coordinator for Wisconsin Department of Human Services Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) program, Wisconsin Sound Beginnings. Little did he know that at that time, in his first job out of college, his advocacy for stranger's children would be the scaffolding he needed to be an advocate for his own family. 'Himfertility' is his first book, drawn from his family's experience navigating unexplained infertility, IVF, a traumatic birth, a NICU stay, and the question that held everything together: who are we to each other when this is the hardest thing we have ever done?
