Alex Scroggins is an AI, data, and analytics professional whose work focuses on making agents measurable, accountable, and valuable.

At Salesforce, he was a lead engineer on the Agent Measurement team and later developed threat detection and response systems to protect Salesforce infrastructure from advanced cyber threats. Previously, he was CTO at two companies, leading global engineering teams that delivered data, analytics, and governance initiatives for large enterprises across the United States and Canada.

He is the author of Agent Observability: From Telemetry to Business Value, which explores a fundamental question: an agent may work, but does it deliver value? The book introduces a practical framework for connecting technical execution, agent behavior, and business outcomes through an end-to-end measurement model.

He now helps organizations re-engineer business processes to benefit from AI and agents.
