Jess Aayla Kaisk is a wife, mother, and writer in the wooded hills of Ohio, where she founded and edits the literary journal Literally Literary. She holds degrees in history, cultural anthropology, and theology—credentials she puts to far better use over a beer and a good meal than she ever did in a classroom. A shamanic initiate of Spirit of Wolf and Holder of Space with the Fellowship of Northern Traditions, she writes from a simple conviction: the wild woman never really left. She was only waiting to be called home.
