Chris Roush

Chris Roush is a longtime journalism professor, journalist and book author. He is currently assistant vice president of strategic partnerships at Elon University and was formerly the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University. Roush also spent 17 years on the UNC-Chapel Hill faculty, including four years as senior associate dean of the School of Media and Journalism. As a journalist, he worked as a reporter for the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Tampa Tribune, BusinessWeek magazine, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Bloomberg News. He was named the Journalism Professor of the Year in 2010 by the Scripps Howard Foundation, has won teaching awards at the state, campus and school level, and has taught business journalism classes on five continents. Roush has written 11 books, including "The Future of Business Journalism," "Profits and Losses: Business Journalism and its role in Society," and "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication."
