Karen Parker

Louisiana native Karen Parker comes from a large Italian Catholic family steeped in faith, food, and family tradition. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Boise State University, she enjoyed a career as a television host, writer, and producer. She is also the author of two self-published e-cookbooks preserving her family’s treasured recipes and is currently working on her debut novel.

Karen lives in Pensacola, Florida, with her husband, Steve Parker, Brig. Gen., USAF (Ret.). They are active members of the Basilica of Saint Michael the Archangel. Together, they are the proud parents of three grown children and grandparents to 12 wonderful grandchildren.
