Bincy P Abraham MD MS

Bincy P. Abraham, M.D., M.S., is a Distinguished Professor and Director of the Fondren Inflammatory Bowel Disease Program at the Underwood Digestive Diseases Center of Houston Methodist Hospital. She has served as Program Director for the Gastroenterology Fellowship and the Advanced IBD Fellowship, where she is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of physicians. Dr. Abraham earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she also completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Abraham is a wife, mother, daughter, physician, mentor, colleague, and patient. Her personal journey navigating chronic illness while pursuing a demanding medical career inspired her to write Success in Medicine. Through her story, she hopes to encourage others facing adversity to persevere, find purpose in their struggles, and recognize that true success is measured not only by achievement but by resilience.
