Beau K Hurley

Beau K Hurley is the author of Somm Killer, a Serial Killer novel set in the world of fine wine. Beau narrates how any obsession can be deadly, a subgenre of Mystery, Thriller, and Suspense. During Beau’s numerous years in the wine industry, he has accomplished many accolades, including Wine Educator, Top Salesperson, and an award-winning industry leader and influencer. His devotion to wine studies led him to become a Certified Specialist of Wine and Wine and Spirits Education Trust Diploma student. Beau is entirely on his way to becoming a Master of Wine. What better way to use those skills than to tell stories about wine, the people who love it, and, most importantly, a darker side of the wine world filled with unspeakable acts?

Throughout his time at Southern New Hampshire University, Beau is proud to have been selected for the President’s and Dean’s List while he has pursued his degree in Creative Writing and Fiction. A Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society recipient and National Society of Leadership and Success inductee, he is finishing his collegiate goals in writing at Queens University of Charlotte, pursuing his Master’s in Fine Arts, graduating in the summer of 2024, and allowing Bo to further refine his storytelling for future additions to his debut work.

A native of Denver, Colorado, Beau’s childhood saw the lavish life of the son of a Pro Football Player at the top of his career juxtaposed with living in a duplex in one of Denver’s most notorious neighborhoods after his parents’ divorce and falling on hard times. Although he grew up lower-middle class for most of his life, a turbulent adolescence left Beau feeling like he was always one step away from poverty. Beau’s writing in the Fiction, Thriller, and Suspense genres centers on what happens when society takes everything away and what some individuals will do to get back what they feel they deserve.
